I thought I would be more upset when I left Aiden at her first day of preschool, but the program and the people are amazing. When DH and I left this morning we were confident in the decision we made. At about 11:30 I felt a little twinge and hoped that she was having fun and wished I knew what she was doing. I ran errands and had lunch with a friend and headed off to pick Aiden up. When I got to school her craft project was out in her cubby and when I looked at it I got all choked up, her first picture to hang on my fridge. I don’t know why that was the thing that made me cry today, but it was. Aiden had a great day and the teachers were so impressed with her vocabulary, that she knows all of her letters, numbers, colors and shapes. They are hoping that she will be able to help her classmates learn how to talk. All in all, a good first day.

I have some exciting news!
I am going to be an affiliate of a company I really love. They will reward me for telling people about their amazing products. I’m super excited and as soon as everything is set up I will be posting about the company and how I can help you save money on their products!
I’m also planning to set up a co-op with some other small business owners I know. I’m going to host a co-op fair in November and it will be like our own mini farmer’s market but will offer many different products from cupcake to photographers to amazing realtors. I’m very excited about the opportunities coming!

Embarrassing moments from the bathroom
These are personal stories that have happened to me and me alone.
Last week I tweeked my knee and it was feeling very weak and sore so I bought a knee brace. It is made to fit a woman’s curves but not over ones pants. So I went into the private bathroom and dropped my pants around my ankles. I put my brace on and then realized I couldn’t put my pants on because I couldn’t bend my knee. Then I got the giggles and finally got my pants on.
Today while pulling my pants back up after taking a tinkle my bracelet got caught on the back of the leg of my underpants. No idea how that happened. As I was struggling to unhook my bracelet from my underwear I was giving myself one heck of a wedgie, I realized I could slip off my bracelet, extricate my underwear from my crack and get the bracelet unhooked from my unraveling underpants.
Don’t you wish you were me?

Ow! My elbow hurts!
Lord Byron aka the puppeh aka f*ckface (my new pet name for him) may be part tasmanian devil. The little bastard (he’s not really a bastard, I met his dad, Jack) did this crazy spin thing this morning while I was holding his collar and hyperextended my elbow. He also bounces off of walls and doors and stuff. Pretty sure there is more than just dog in him.
He woke up at 6:30 again, he may be moving to the basement, except I have to get up at 6:30 tomorrow. Oh well, the husband will be home tomorrow night. I may go out for cocktails after work, BY MYSELF!

Shock collars for everyone!
The husband is off in Park City doing yet another show. I am home with Frick and Frack (the dogs) and Aiden. I should have realized last weekend when huzzby was all gung ho about getting a puppy I was the one who would suffer the consequences.
Last night I was exhausted from work and not sleeping so great. The dogs and the kid were all in rare form, lots of wrestleing and throwing of stuff. You decide who was doing what. Finally, I got all of the little creatures settled down and in their respective sleeping spots.
At 6:30 this morning the puppeh starts yapping, so I go let the dogs out, after getting peed on. When I get back in bed Aiden is hogging all the covers, and I had the air conditioner cranked so it was chilly in my room. She and I fought over the covers until the dogs start barking at the back door. IT’S 6:45 YA JERKS!
I would really like to pound on someone this morning. Any volunteers?

Wish I could write like that
My new favorite author is Jen Lancaster. Her book are memoirs and are hilarious. My new favorite book “thing” is audiobooks and I am currently listening to “My Fair Lazy” by Jen Lancaster. I find myself giggling, often. I have always wanted to be a writer and I crack myself up often, but I find that mostly only me and my mother find these things hilarious. So, if you get a chance to read or listen to her, take it.

Back to work
Well, I went back to work today. Got some bad work news and am struggling to fit school in. I didn’t weigh myself and I missed my kid terribly. I did make it to work on time, yeah me!

First Day of Vacation Update
Aiden woke me up at 7:25, wanting to go sit on Mommy’s couch. We are vacation Aiden! This requires is to sleep in! I tried to go back to bed after lightly tossing her on the couch and turning on Special Agent Oso. But I keeping thinking of this paper I have to write, I have no guidance and no idea where to start. I’m sure I will update again before the week is over. Wish me luck.

You can call me spotty
I’m a spotty blogger not a streaker, I’m not a nude streaker either. Work has been crazy busy and the husband is out of town, I’m doing what I can to keep it together, with a ton of help from my parents.
And now I am going to rant. I have pain in my right breast, pretty constant. I called my OB for some advice, they contacted my PCP. No on has an appointment to see me and that is where they have left it. I’m going to try some ibuprofen and heat and call again but I am pretty frustrated.
On a lighter note, my friends, the Espeys were granted adoption of their foster daughter Genny! Hooray!
